The salary of customer advisors is determined by several factors. Industry plays a central role: banks and insurance companies typically pay higher salaries than retail or telecommunications. The canton also noticeably affects earnings, since cost of living and wage levels differ significantly by region, with salaries in Geneva or Zug well above the national average. Professional experience also has an effect, as responsibility and salary increase steadily with growing practical experience.
